Lara Mateo, mainly known as laruh, is a Rizal-based singer/songwriter. Her sound leans toward acoustic and folk pop melodies, accompanied by lyrics on the sentiments of one still trying to figure things out.

laruh has been uploading covers and demos on YouTube and Soundcloud since 2019. Although, her debut single “i worry too much” is what brought her to major digital streaming platforms in July 2021. This was later on followed by her latest single titled “leave it as is“, released in September 2022.

laruh has also performed alongside fellow OPM artists like Reese Lansangan, The Ridleys, Munimuni, and geiko, among others.

As laruh continues to create music, she hopes that these would be able to resonate with those who listen to them.
